One of the largest projects ever undertaken by Data Solutions, a £multi-million plant for monitoring mass batches of batteries simultaneously during formation is now classified as Y2K compliant after recent checks.

Commissioned five years ago, the plant at Swinton, Manchester, incorporates a unique monitoring system developed by Data Solutions which permits high volume, automated production of premium batteries at very low cost.

The revolutionary manufacturing method permits the elimination of a very costly processing stage and total automation of the final production sequence. The plant has been so successful that its original size was doubled after only two years.
