Single Board Solutions are essentially a Printed Circuit Board with electronic circuitry made to work in a prescribed manner independent of other systems.

The advantage with single board solutions is with quantity. If your system only requires one or two bespoke parts then maybe a PLC or a PC with some additional I/O card would be best. When there is the need for many, then a single board solution could be the most cost effective.

A single board solution starts with some sort of specification from the customer. Most often it's "We need something to... and it's got to fit in here" very rarely are we supplied with full schematic and flow diagrams. From here one of our engineers works with you the customer to work out the specification for the design and to give some idea of cost.
We then develop the electronics, design and build the PCB, and for most systems develop the embedded software to run on the board. We then work with yourselves to implement the PCB into your system. The designs and any software are handed over allowing you the freedom either obtain your production requirements from us or to source the production elsewhere.
