Data Solutions has a long history of controlling conveyor systems.

As you may be aware, conveyor systems come in all shapes and sizes and various levels of sophistication, ranging from the simple inclined belt conveyor used for moving goods from one level to another in a warehouse, through to full X-ray tracking on an international airport baggage handling facility.

Over the last 10 years, our customers expectations of conveyor control has increased and Data Solutions has prided itself on its ability to lead the technology and be imaginative in our approach to implementing our clients wishes.

As we go into the 21st Century, many of our clients are no longer approaching the traditional suppliers of conveyor and warehouse systems and are looking at ways of integrating their stock and production facilities with control of conveyor. This may range from simple re-routing of product should a conveyor become congested or jammed, through to full tracking of items as they progress along their route.

Using Data Solutions standard conveyor control software, this type of control is possible and has been used to good effect in baggage handling systems and production control.
